My path didn’t start off with a focus on flowers. I actually started out studying something totally different, thinking the only way I could help people was through the medical field. It wasn’t until I studied abroad in Spain that I realized how big the world really is. How intentional life should be when you slow down and notice the beauty in it.

When I did my first wedding, everything changed. Seeing the bride’s tears after she saw all her wedding flowers and bouquet, realizing those flowers would live on in photos for generations. It made me see that I was still impacting people’s lives, just in a different way. Whether it’s an intentional gift to make someone smile or flowers that elevate a space and make it feel warm and inviting, that’s the part of this work that keeps me inspired.

These days, I spend a lot of time freelancing with different floral designers throughout the Bay Area, working on all kinds of awesome projects and installations. I also take on special orders and commissions, and I love doing weekly flower drop-offs at local small businesses — bringing fresh, seasonal flowers into spaces that serve our community.
